• Today also happens to be the day that my 2 cousins & uncle from the UK came down to visit us ... ... ... & celebrate Mother's Day with grandma as well. ^^

They brought some goodies... hohoho

• It feels great seeing my 2 cousins (Tracy & Gemma). The last time I meet them was... ... ... hmmm 3 years was it?
• A funny thing too, dad sent me to get 4 big mineral water back home... I rode out to Lintas Supermarket & a storm suddenly came!!! Dad said to wait for the storm to finish (while he, grandma, uncle & cousin have a nice happy dinner at home... I was stuck at Lintas with 4 mineral water... ... ... er... I ended up being in some Cyber Cafe... till like 10pm++ XD
• Got back & the cousins were still there. We watched the Thomas Cup (badminton game)...

The irony of it all! LOL!!!

Think I will be playing tour guide for the next few days with my cousins. But it would be good catching up with them after soooo long. ^^

If you ever get invited to a Kadazandusun's family celebration, get ready to "monginum". Monginum means to "drink. Im not Kadus (Kadazandusun) but so far I always hear this expression when it involves alcohol (seldom I hear them say "monginum" & hand me a can of Coke... ... ...).

Talk Cock Session: "Smelling like smoke!!!"

Let's see... just a couple of hours ago, I was at the Cinema watching IRON MEN!!!

Er... u got the wrong Iron dude...

Ooooh forget it~

Anyway straight after the movie I went down to Shannies to see if there's anything to cover about the Cowboy theme party!

... ... ...

Not much though, I realised KK folks are still generally shy to dress up. But those who DID dress up...

kof kof... YEEEEeeeeeeeeeeeeeeHHhaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwww~~~~~!!! (I just realised I need bigger pants... kof kof)

I didnt stay long though coz the crowd weren't happening & there just werent enough cowboy or cowgirls to make a good coverage... So i went straight to another event which was the Miss Borneo 2008 Finals held at SPURS, Kompleks Asia City...






Again, I didnt stay there long... say 20 to 30 minutes just to snap some pictures? When I got into the car (with Fara, Rina & Dias in it), they though a smoked salmon came in.






This was 1 of the many reasons why I quit clubbing...

Smelling like Gudang MildKentBoro Hill...

Of course, goin clubbing is cool with good music, good eye candy, good drinks & good company... but the idea of getting smoked up after that, & having to get rid off the smell when your tipsy & tired sounds like a ridiculous idea... 1st, you need to bath...

and we all know bathing at nite is supposedly bad for your health...

2nd, that smoked shirt & jeans needs to be rid of the smell NOW!!!

Unless you want YOUR ROOM to start smelling like smoke as well!? ><"

By the time you are done "cleaning" up, you got 2-3 hours left before a new day (& feeling all hang-over or tired or I-think-today-i-need-to-rest mode). It's a pure waste of time to me lah...

I know its tough, there are smokers that NEEDS to smoke... & that having a non-smoking club is like the fastest way for bankruptcy...




But maybe they can consider thinking up something to save us non-smokers? Like lets say...

Stick bread all over the walls? (wonder why? click here.)

Heck, if it can absorb bad fridge smell... I m sure it can absorb smoke! By then you'll need to deal with the bread crumbs I guess! XD

Hey folks, there goin to be a cultural show at the Sabah Museum, Heritage Village today & tommorrow (5-6th May 2008) starting at 10:00am to 5:00pm. I figure its goin to be another good opportunity for photo shooting (that is~ IF you can escape office hour) . kekeke

The editor of Breeze magazine explained to me that there is a Miss Borneo 2008 finals at the SPURS sport bar in Kompleks Asia City, this wednesday on the 7th May (Time unsure). More pweety pweety girls to see? kof kof... ... this throat wont get well lah like this...

For music lovers, this 8th May (Thursday) at Jessleton Point 8:00pm will be a performance by National Symphony Orchestra which is open to the pubic... I mean public...

I gotta run, this is a short post just to let you knows goin on & about in KK. If you happen to be in any of these events & see me, dont forget to tap my shoulder aight? kekeke! :D

• For 2 nights, I've been covering the Sabah Fest event... this year was more challenging for me as I no longer have a flash or a good 70-200mm lens anymore... But I was still determined to try new things under the dark & using a kit lens to shoot. Enough about the camera story mory~ I will update the Sabah Fest 2008 event soon in LifeBuzz, will keep u guys posted :)

• Joined the Shadowmoor release party at Mindslavers... It's been a while since I played in a good & exciting Magic competition. But since I was a participant, I didnt bring my camera & shoot the competition. Any how, I got into Top 10 out of 18 people & won some yummy cards. kekeke... dont mind the Geek moment... kekeke

• Let's just say I heard "good news" from a friend today that Im sure, will make me sleep better tonight. Moral of the story: If you showoff & hurt someone... get ready for karma. hehehe
• It's "kof kof season" again... I got infected by a friend's kof which I passed to a whole group of peeps in another friend recently... sorry... kof kof... in fact, why dont you guys check out what Rina from Life Behind GL blog has to say about the bad kof-ing season.

(the later one sounded obscene) but anyway I guess it would be easier to have LifeBuzz be my "event blog" while 81lions continue to stay as my "personal fun" blog.
