KK FREEZE at Citymall 2008
In conjunction with the KL Sunway Pyramide FREEZE for World Earth Day on the 20th April 2008. Edgar from ClickStartPlay decided that if we cant be there to join them~ we might as well do 1 here too! And thats exactly what happen!
Since April 17th, we were sending SMS, emails, forum posts & word of mouth to everyone around.
The FREEZE was timed at 8:00pm at Citymall. By 7:30pm everyone meets at Pizza Hut & synchronize their watches.
After the quick briefing, the FREEZERS (not ice box, yeah) went to pass around flyers to the crowd in Citymall to inform them of this 1st time event.
Of course, some of our members got very weird replies from the crowd...
Then as the time came... we photographers got ready & were poised to shoot already. The Citymall DJ was helping us announcing the FREEZE countdown!

After 5 minutes... The FREEZE was over & everybody celebrated with roars of joys & loud claps to show the success of this event! :) The organiser giving his word of thanks to the FREEZERS.

Again, this shows the power of communication in the lil community of KK. Such a last minute event, but with the connection of all us KK-nites... we can pull anything off! Again, SALUTE KK!!! ^^

this is a pointless event pervesing the gist of Earth Day. if you really want to make a difference, create an event that actually mean something..not some blind fad.
