The Warisan Square Opening.

I was at Warisan Square "last year" checking out the opening.





I wanted to be there was to watch the Extreme Sports demo from Singapore & OUR LOCAL BOYZ.




I got there round 1pm & it was raining... oh... =(

I though the demo would be cancelled...



But the crew and organisers there werent about to give up yet. FEEL THE SEMANGAT OF SABAH-BAH~! The show must go on! We can still have fun babeh~!




Lets do a rain dance!



There was even this guy that could rap in Donald Duck's voice! I kid you not! XD




Couldnt make a word he said... i hope it's "rain-rain go away"! XD

When the rain became a drizzle, the event managers pulled this out!




I was wondering: "What the Dues?"




Ooooo... Beach Volley Ball!

It was an "inter-boutique" (?) competition: Quicksilver vs Roxy





Kasian not swim wear, but getting to see girls playing in shorts and the rain coming down to make em wet? Maybe the rain can stay awhile... XD












By 3pm, there was a fashion show by Paccini featuring Amber Chia & "The Miss Malaysia(s)": Miss Malaysia Tourism, Miss Malaysia World, Miss Malaysia etc-etc... all the beautiful Malaysian lah!




Amber Chia, celebrity-model & now actress (she appeared in our local movie called: possessed).






She a real pride of us Sabahan, our home town Tawau girl.




She is good looking in real person as she is in photos (she should take a shot as Miss Malaysia).

After the show, some games were open to keep the public going.







They placed a box beside the stage and some kk folks were like: "Ha~ whats that oh? Sauna ah?" XD - OMG! NO WONDER WHY THEY THINK WE LIVE ON TREES!!!

A cash-storm box is where (play to Apprentice opening music) money-money-money-mooooney-moooo-ney~! are placed inside the box and a fan would blow the cash flying around everywhere. Your job inside the box? Grab anything you can see!




Security were doubled when this game was on.




To play this game, you just have to go round Warisan Square and produce a receipt of atleast RM150 to the cash-storm counter. Then you get a chance to play!

Gee... this lady got really lucky: she got in twice (2 separate receipt... RM300) & came out from the box with RM400!!! RM100 richer!!! What a win-win situation! XD





By this time, the Extreme demo was brought into another block. Slowly, the crowd started to gather and it was my 1st experience watching this cool event.





(Bad sound... will edit a proper one when i got time. =p )





Later we got the Bboyz performing some twister dances!









I got to bump into Labuan Blogger SR215 & Borneo Blogger Flanegan (all of us here thanks to clickstartplay).

It was a great function, if Warisan Square Opening was this cool i cant wait for the 1Borneo opening! ^^ Im sure its gonna be a Blast! Atleast this opening got alot of KK people here to watch some cool events.
